Quick responses lead to big impacts... here is what I mean

The simplest tip I have for sales reps—and really, for anyone—is to respond right away.

When I was an individual contributor, I saw many of my peers waiting until the end of the day or until they had all the information needed to respond.

But as soon as a prospect, customer, or colleague sent me an email, I would reply as quickly as possible with something like, "Just seeing this now, I'm on it. Will respond as soon as I have [needed information]."

Guess what.... Do this enough times, and your clients start mirroring this behavior. Not always....but I often found it to be the case

I truly believe this small habit set me apart and helped me become the # 1 rep multiple times throughout my career.
